Colin Hendricks

As Chief Technology Officer, Colin Hendricks guides the overall technical direction for ROME Corporation solutions. Mr. Hendricks brings over twelve years of experience in the design and development of business software applications in the energy and financial services industries.
In his current capacity, Mr. Hendricks oversees the design and development of the software architecture that forms the foundation of ROME Corporation's products and frequently serves as the company's technical evangelist in communicating with prospects, customers and other industry observers. Mr. Hendricks has been instrumental in leveraging open standards and technologies to build a high-performance, reliable and flexible technical foundation that has enabled ROME to deliver high value enterprise software.
Mr. Hendricks comes to ROME Corporation from Luminant Worldwide where he led the software architecture design efforts on a range of projects for clients in the energy and financial services arenas. His accomplishments included developing the industry's first online trading system for credit derivatives, which has resulted in the processing of over $200 billion notional value in credit default swaps. Mr. Hendricks also led the production of numerous enterprise application architectures for global leaders in the energy industry, all of which resulted in substantial improvements in operational efficiencies. Projects included the development of financial exchange architectures, field mobility software, deregulated power billing systems, systems designed to link trading systems with accounting systems in the energy industry, and call center support systems.
Mr. Hendricks has extensive experience and certification in a wide range of industry-standard technologies. He also holds a Masters of Science degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University.

Dan Reid
Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Vice President Global Solutions

Dan Reid is one of the founding principals of ROME Corporation and brings over thirteen years of experience in the energy, financial, and telecommunications industries to his role as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Solutions. Mr. Reid is responsible for developing and leading the execution of strategic marketing initiatives to extend ROME's global presence .
Prior to ROME , Mr. Reid served as national practice leader for Luminant Worldwide where he was instrumental in procuring over $40 million in client revenue over a three-year period. Mr. Reid provided in-depth strategy, business development and enterprise architecture consulting to Fortune 500 customers. In this capacity, Mr. Reid worked closely with clients, partners, and analysts to ensure the success of critical technology projects and to guide the development and execution of strategic business goals and objectives.
Previously, Mr. Reid founded Balance Consulting Solutions, developing the organization and establishing several anchor accounts prior to being acquired by Luminant Worldwide. Mr. Reid began his career as an electrical engineer with Procter & Gamble designing and developing plant SCADA and HS&E systems.
Mr. Reid holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science from the University of Houston.

Ian Tobin
Chief Strategy Officer, Managing Director EMEA

Ian Tobin is the Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director, EMEA at ROME Corporation. As Chief Strategy Officer, Ian is responsible for the company’s business strategy and vision and for driving ROME ’s strategic product roadmap. As Managing Director EMEA, Ian is responsible for continuing to build ROME 's international presence, with particular emphasis on growing the customer base in Europe. Ian contributes a strong combination of technical and business vision with extensive client-facing skills and experience.
Mr Tobin brings over 25 years of risk management experience covering the Investment Banking and Energy markets. Prior to joining ROME Corporation, Ian was one of the founding members of Raft International Plc, a London based Software Company. As head of Product Strategy he was responsible for the direction and business content of their suite of credit risk management products and was instrumental in taking Raft’s credit risk management product into the Energy trading space in 2000 and for growing this business both in the USA and Europe.
Previously Ian worked on the first truly global position keeping system which was subsequently used by Reuters where he had a leading role within their front office trading systems group. He then went on to work with a number of software companies specialising in trading, market risk and credit risk management systems. Ian has had various papers published and speaks regularly at trade shows and conferences in these areas.

Doug Ashmore

Doug Ashmore is the Vice President of the Professional Services organization at ROME Corporation. In this capacity, Mr. Ashmore is responsible for overseeing the delivery of service solutions that provide tactical and operational enhancements to ROME Corporation offerings, while increasing the customer's understanding of industry leading best-practices.
Mr. Ashmore brings over a decade of energy transaction management software experience, including the maximization of streamlined services engagements comprised of highly focused and integrated vendor and client resource teams. Prior to joining ROME Corporation, Mr. Ashmore served as the Manager of Client Services for Complete Solutions and was responsible for development, installation and support teams managing global risk management and logistics systems for domestic and international business units of Fortune 100 companies.
At Altra Energy Technologies, Mr. Ashmore was a significant contributor to the growth of the services organization while providing leadership to the on-going management of numerous mission-critical Altra clients. Mr. Ashmore also developed a standardized, enterprise-sponsored Rapid Implementation Methodology (RIM) to ensure customers received an accurate high-value recommendation of creative products that broadened existing technological investments and produced significant competitive advantages.
Mr. Ashmore began his career by organizing and completing gas pipeline reconciliation projects for Louisiana Energy Development Corporation (LEDCO) and holds a Bachelor Business Administration in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin University.

Dennis Hernandez
Vice President, Sales

Dennis Hernandez is the Vice President of Sales at ROME Corporation. Mr. Hernandez brings to the position over seventeen years of experience in the energy industry with numerous enterprise software leaders and energy companies in the areas of software sales, sales management, finance, and operations.
Prior to joining ROME Corporation, Mr. Hernandez held roles of increasing responsibility at Texas Eastern, Panhandle Eastern, Duke Energy, Altra Energy Technologies, and Sungard. At Altra Energy, he founded and established Altra as the leading provider of Natural Gas Management and Transmission application systems in the United States. As Vice President, Mr. Hernandez drove sales and market share over 300% per year. He was directly responsible for the selling of enterprise energy risk and transaction systems to Fortune 500 companies.
At Texas Eastern, Mr. Hernandez helped design the first “real time” electronic Capacity Release system utilized with the Natural Gas Transportation Electronic Bulletin Board, LINK.
Mr. Hernandez graduated from Texas A&M University with Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Computer Science and he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Shannon Hugetz
Vice President, Product Management

Shannon Hugetz is the Vice President of Product Management at ROME Corporation. She is responsible for the strategic direction of ROME’s suite of credit risk management products and the satisfaction of ROME’s growing customer base through her leadership of the Product Management, Customer Support, and Quality Assurance groups.
Ms. Hugetz has over 13 years of energy industry experience. Nine of those years were with Sungard Energy Systems where she worked on various Energy Transaction Management systems. Most recently in her tenure at Sungard, Ms. Hugetz was instrumental in the design and implementation of a patented web application. This application is used by Shell Energy Trading Limited to support their Natural Gas operations in the global energy market. Prior to that, Ms Hugetz used her expertise and leadership skills to infuse quality into key aspects of the software development process: design, documentation, testing, user training and implementation.
Ms. Hugetz is a certified PMP®,the Project Management Institute's, topmost professional credential for project management professionals.She also holds a Masters from Gallaudet University and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Texas where she graduated with Highest Honors.
